We remember.Roma Holocaust Memorial DayToday we pause to remember the hundreds of thousands of Roma and Sinti people who were persecuted and whose lives were cruelly taken during the Holocaust. Their families were torn apart, their culture was targeted, and countless futures were stolen by hatred.For too many years, the Roma genocide remained overlooked and untold. Remembering is not only about honouring those who were lost; it is about ensuring their stories are never forgotten and that prejudice has no place in our future.Today, let us all light a candle in memory of those who never made it home, remembering their strength, their resilience, and the rich culture they carried with them despite unimaginable persecution.May each flame remind us all that every life mattered, every name mattered, and every story deserves to be remembered.We Remember.
